BREAKING NEWS. Break out the bubbly. The aptly dubbed "perma-tan"  millionaire Italian Media Mogul Silvo Berlusconi  and his Forza Italia party is poised to recapture control of the seemingly ever languishing (Alitalia, ItalPetrol and the late Parmalat), trash laden (Naples) country of Italy.  The victory marks the 3rd term for the Playboy of Politics after his brief relinquishing of the throne to the fallen gov't of Romano Prodi and dodging the Walter Veltroni bullet. Late Roman Mayor Veltroni had all the right things going for him, including a Clooney stump in Rome, but it just wasn't enough to topple Silvio. Take some advice from popular blogger activist Beppe Grillo and burn 'em all I say. Start new. The current state of politics in Italy makes Albany look like the Sweden. You know Sweden right? Where nothing is ever wrong and everyone is happy, yeah thats the one.  Who knows though?  Maybe the second time around is the charm for Il Cavaliere following the promises of miracles and the great rebirth of the Italian economy that never happened (actual economic downturn in fact). Let us all hope Italy and it's Eternal City can navigate their way out of the doldrums that are the lower rungs of the EU. I love you Italy.
