Crushing it.

I don't like to talk about finances but I realized about five of my posts have to do with the stock market.  Then it occured to me, recently I've been playing the market a lot.  The rush I get from clicking on the buy and sell orders is incomprable.  I love it.

Anyway, its the end of the month... Its Halloween.  Don't know what the dealio is for tonight but I'm sure it will be hell.  I'll update later.  For now check the shortlist.

The Shorlist:

Kaiser Chiefs - Heat Dies Down

Velvet Underground - The Gift   (listen to it one time)

Simon and Garfunkel - Leaves That Are Green

Ludacris - Southern Hospitality

Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb

Under My Thumb

kate_moss_london_9_big.jpg    I always thought Pete Doherty was just Kate Moss' boyfriend.  Well, Kate Moss' boyfriend and a crack head.  I never really knew he was actually in a band until a few weeks ago.  I got my hands on the self-titled Libertines album and gave it a listen.  I really liked it.  Sometimes dark, sometimes lighthearted... Glam rock.  A lot of the tunes were really catching while some felt half-hearted and mediocre.  But then again does Pete Doherty really give a fuck?  At times I was stomping my foot other times I really wanted to do a couple lines with Kate.  She is a sweet, sweet girl.  It's a cruel, cruel, world.  Give it a listen. Also try his new group the Babyshambles.

I decided to take a minor gamble and put in an order for some contracts of Microsoft 37.5 November calls.  It didn't fill at the close of the bell... If it explodes tomorrow with the fed rate cut I'm gonna cut someone.  Also sold SVA.  I actually woke up before the bell today, I'll try again tomorrow.  Maybe I can pick up the calls ahead of the fed meeting.

You'd better look out below

First of all.  I laughed a couple times.  Even though its 17 years old.  La di da de we like to party.  Today, for the first time in my life, I listened to Purple Rain in its entirety.  Start to finish it was an experience.  I heard mixed reviews about the movie but I think I'm going to have to watch it anyway.I'm definiteley going to have to see the movie.

Today was pretty, pretty boring.  I really want to take a girl out to a nice seafood restuarant and read the menu to her out loud.  After finally debating what I should be this halloween I've decided to circumvent the path of Jesus and become the Canadian child molester, Christopher Paul Neil.

    The costume is simple:

Photoshop a picture of your face with the swirl effect or just use this one.

Print it out on a 8x11 sheet of paper.

Cut two holes on both sides of the paper and use either a rubberband or string to tie it around your head.

If you really want to make it realistic rent a van with no windows and dress in a flannel shirt.

WHATS THE SCENARIO??  When is this coffee table book coming out.  Someone needs to do it.

I'm from Rhodesia!

We say Zimbabwe now, don't we? RHODESIA!

My building hasn't turned on the heat in my building yet. and its 41 degrees outside and dropping.  It also sort of sucks there is nobody to cuddle with.  I wish I still had my girlfriend right now.  The super needs to seal my windows again because cold air sneaks right through, this is something I know they won't get around to until the spring.

I have an 11:30 appointment in the Slope.  I was going to ride my bike but I'm really tired for some reason.  I didn't get a good nights sleep.  I was having nightmares but can't really remember what they were about.  I've been trying to keep a 'dream journal' but that hasn't been working well with me.  Every time I start to write I forget what I dreamt about!

I am recommending purchase of MSFT 40 December Calls.  I have a strong suspicion it will get there.  For now literally WAKE UP to this song.

Punctuality is the thief of time.

Serge
Halloween in the city.  You gotta love it.  I found a location to shoot my short at that is perfect.  Now all I have to acquire is a lighting set up and I'm golden.  I'm really excited.

Today is mostly going to be spent indoors, if it wasn't for the bells at the Russian Orthodox church I'd still be asleep.  The month ends on wednesday and I have seven jobs to get out.  I also want to get out a pod by wednesday.  That means lots of number crunching and film editting today.  I'm trying to play soccer before I have to buckle down.

In other news I made a huge discovery last night.  Serge Gainsbourg.  The original playaaaaaa.  For those of you who haven't heard him, well you must!  When I hear him i go into suave mode.  I run my fingers through my hair and walk with a swagger as I smoke a cigarette.  Love it.  Listen here!

Roma beats Milan at San Siro... Ownage.
