Paper and water

I'm in Costa Rica in Santa Teresa/Mal Pais. Amazing would be the best word to

describe it.  When I saw the Pacific from my bus today I was filled with glee... I dropped my stuff off at my place and hit the beach where I just sort of floated in the ocean for awhile.  The town is desolate, tourists are a rae breed and everyone is a local.  I love it.

I ate some coconut from a coconut tree... I saw a giant lizard... A dog followed me for a couple km's on the beach.  I bought a pack of cigarettes... I went through a chunk of my notes... Tomorrow I'm going to find a surfboard to rent and I'm off.  It's Austin vs. the ocean, epic match.

Other than that, while I was in San Jose someone tried to sell me heroin and before I

left nyc I met a nice girl.

Bye Bye

I just wanted to give the heads up I'm leaving the country for a month starting on Monday.  Costa Rica by myself.  I won't have a phone or computer so I'll update this sparingly.  In the meantime I'm going to direct the main page to PRR starting Sunday night since he seems to be updating with  respectable frequency since hooking up his internet.

Other than that, here is a song I haven't been able to expel from my head over the past week.

:Sing Along:

 ALSO

PRR failed to mention this (I think).  His girlfriend's friend, who I don't know, went to a Prince concert.  Apparently she doesn't have a good sense of music or a fine tuned ear.  I'm not insulting Price, he is a pioneer.  However its the statement she made after attending the concert that was just absurd; in regards the the concert and in all honestly she said:

"It was a life changing experience."

I'm so tired.  I want to go under this desk and pass out.  The brain just isn't clicking today.

0.491

Courtesty AP.com:

State police say they arrested a man early Tuesday whose blood alcohol level was 0.491 percent — the highest ever recorded in Rhode Island for someone who wasn't dead.

Stanley Kobierowski was taken to a hospital, put in the detoxification unit and sedated, said Maj. Steven O'Donnell. He was arraigned Tuesday on charges of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest, and he was released after promising to appear Friday at a court hearing.

"The person's lucky they survived," O'Donnell said. "There's no doubt he would have gotten killed or killed someone if he had continued on the route he was taking."

A phone listing for Kobierowski could not be found, and he did not have a lawyer in court Tuesday.

Kobierowski, 34, of North Providence, was arrested after he drove into a highway message board on Interstate 95 in Providence, O'Donnell said.

After police arrived, Kobierowski had trouble getting out of the car, then grabbed it and refused to move, forcing troopers to carry him to the breakdown lane before taking him back to their barracks, O'Donnell said.

A breath test showed blood alcohol readings of 0.489 percent, followed by 0.491, O'Donnell said, the highest readings state officials could remember for someone who didn't end up dead.

The legal limit in Rhode Island is 0.08. A level of 0.30 is classified as stupor, 0.4 is comatose and 0.5 is considered fatal, according to the health department.

I remember way back when

I'm rolling back the days.  On Sunday I'm going to see MGMT for free at McCaren Park and on Monday I'm on a flight to Costa Rica.  I called T-mobile and there is no service there.  I'm not bringing my laptop.  I am out.

I'm rolling down Rodeo with a shotgunnnnnn....
